Equine Assisted Learning

We recognizes the power of horses as facilitators of learning and personal development. Our equine-assisted learning programs integrate horses into various educational and therapeutic activities. By engaging with horses, children develop important life skills such as problem-solving, empathy, leadership, and effective communication. The presence of these majestic animals creates a dynamic and engaging environment that fosters experiential learning and personal growth.

We offer social and learning opportunities for homeschool groups that want to learn more about equine science as well as social skills and reading activities.  The instructors are teachers and therapists that can offer customizable curriculum for your group.

Horse Powered Reading® integrates social-emotional learning with academics; thus allowing students see and experience reading with their entire mind, body and emotions by creating metaphors for the skills involved in reading.  

Students interact with horses from the ground, while using toys and props to identify obstacles and learn five critical reading skills - phonemic awareness, decoding, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension

In addition to equine-assisted learning, we offer family coaching services. Skilled and compassionate professionals work closely with families to provide guidance, support, and resources. Through tailored coaching sessions, families gain insights, develop strategies, and strengthen their relationships. The coaching process focuses on enhancing communication, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive and nurturing family environment.

Horses help us to realize what we need to learn in order to work as a cohesive team. Learn how to communicate clearly and honestly to achieve the best possible outcome.  By using horses to facilitate these sessions, individuals learn how body language, tone and intension are seen by others.  As flight animals, horses rely on non-verbal cues to decide if they are safe.  Often they mirror our feelings and demonstrate how our actions are received by others.  This is a great way to become more self- aware.
